Yesterday I learned that my entry into this competition was selected as one of the six semi-finalists. No one can imagine the excitement this news generated among our family and friends! Although online voting won't take place until November 7th at www.landofodds.com/store/alldolledup.htm , I am pleased to present my entry of Galilea here.
This year's theme was Celestial Reflections -- both a beaded art doll and a short story of 1,000-2,000 words was required for submittal. The first paragraph was mandated by contest rules.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! put your story here! I love those kinds of thing! Such an amazing piece of work! And that the source of your designs were the photos from Hubble just gives me shivers!
This is sooo fabulous! I want to see her face up close, please? I find it so interesting that you had to write a story also - that just proves that you are multi-talented! What is the significance of the "pole" with the beaded rings on it? She is truly a treasure - kudos to you.
I agree with Lin-Moon...WOW!! Fabulous work with beads. Can't wait to see the story to.

OMG congrats for the much deserved nomination and if they allow me to vote, you know I will be one of the first! Your story touched me, but more so I am deeply impressed by the execution of this doll. It tells a story all by itself... just amazing! Your talent overflows, thank you for posting the extra photos too...what a beautiful vision she is... this is a deep, deep piece. I'm stunned!
