Love Squared -- Pink Artist Charity Doll

I can't remember when participating in a project has given me more satisfaction than this brainchild of Monica Magness. "Love Squared" was a collaboration of 182 artists who placed their 2x2 inch squares in the capable and wildly imaginative hands of Monica. This 40" tall beauty is destined for a grand adventure and, hopefully, will garner a huge auction price. The proceeds from this pending auction will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

Thank you, Monica, for bringing all of us together in this community effort and for your wonderful, arty ways!

Kathy,

I kept checking in...even told myself to stop by this morning after my walk... :)

I love seeing our creation on everyone's blog. What an honor to work with you all onthis proj.

Per the raffle, one thing it does do is enable everyone to get involved vs ebay...only those who can afford it get the opportunity.

As for the marketing...we are doing that now with our blogs as well as the ADQ issue- it will mention our decision to auction or raffle.

Also, friends, family and posts made when the time comes will do GOOD here.

ebay...leaves 7 days (at most 10) for someone to make the time to bid. What if they are on vacation? Or incidentally have cash flow issues that week?

In the end, I know our doll will go to who it is supposed. We've all gained great blessings in coming together here. ~Monica :)

Oh, you did a square! I was just looking at this incredible doll on a different website. What an amazing collaborative creation! So glad you were able to be such a part of something so wonderful! I hope it raises a huge amount of money for the foundation when it goes up for auction.
