My, how time does fly!

No, I did not fall of the edge of the world. But I sure feel like I have been around it a time or two or three over the past five months!
As a matter of fact, there were times when I felt pretty much like our granddaughter, Phoebe, in this photo -- enough, already!
We had the busiest Fall that I can ever remember having which then extended into the busiest holiday season on record. Aside from all the hustle and bustle of making holiday gifties and traveling, there never was a moment to photograph even one single project.
The most exciting end result of all these busy months, though, is that we are finally in the process of publishing my novel. Wanna talk about something eating up all of your time? My beads have been screaming loudly from the worktable -- such neglect!
All kidding aside, stay tuned -- beading projects will be turning up shortly, just as soon as I get my head out of this publishing process . . .

O my, the pic of Phoebe is adorable! Though a face shot may be in order here... wow, your necklaces are gorgeous!
What kind of novel are you publishing? I am very interested in that whole process... Thanks for your kind comments on my blog and anytime you want to expend more energy on hats, feel free to send one up to the chilly temps here in Wisconsin... I never turn down a hat! :)
Have I told you my bro lives in Albuquerque?

I am glad your beads are screaming loudly at you...they miss you and so do we...but we all understand!

Thanks for your comment on nevertoolatetohavefun. When you are busy you aren't behind - you just haven't caught up yet.

Kathy,

I am so thrilled to have indeed met you on OWOH and the reason I left a comment mainly is that I think it is so brave to go out there and write a novel. Also my in laws use to live in Santa Fe for years and years (not anymore :( But I am very familiar with that area of the country. I love NM and if I could retire there I would be there in a second. And your granddaughter looks to be a dancer! My three (15 and 13 yr old twins) are all classically trained dancers. Oh and I love your beaded jewelry. Great work.

So it wasn't just me!! But I won't have a novel to show for my time away. Your granddaughter looks cute. Everyone feels "enough already" at some point. One of my granddaughters just scrunches down in a corner when she feels like that.
