Let me tell you, they aren't like those potato chips! Five days and two and a-half bags of polyfil later, we have 42 comfort dolls ready for a workshop. These little ladies are going to be suitably decorated come Saturday afternoon.
Since most of the workshop attendees have little or no beading experience, the faces on these dolls were printed on fusible fabric. Didn't think they would be ready for polyclay faces and all the beading necessary to finish them properly.
We will save that for the next workshop . . .

whoooey!!!!! that's aLOT of dollies! Think of the fun you'll have, the experiences you'll share... wish I were a fly on the wall to watch the comradery being shared! What a knockout group of forms, the faces are CUTE! I do hope you blog the whole class... beginning to end!

They sure do look nice already. I hope everyone enjoys beading them. Your are smart not to overwhelm the new beaders. We want to add them to our ranks, not scare them away!

ANYWAY.... 'bout time I was here to see what you are up to... Well bless my soul... look at all the comfort dolls~!!! wowee!!! That will be one fun loaded workshop. What a great idea. I have been working on some myself. I find it such a worthwhile project knowing you are sending some comfort and love to someone in need.
